For a place
Towns, churches, chambers, and anybody with a calendar people should know about.
The map knows where your building is. It does not know that there is a run club on Tuesday, a supper on Thursday, and that you close at four in winter. A place can pay to put that in, and when it is in, it shows up in plans for people who are already looking for exactly that.
What you are buying is accuracy, not position. A paid listing is marked as one, and it never outranks a better fit. The day a plan gets worse because somebody paid, the whole product is worthless.
What we will not do
- No ads. The entire point of this product is that it is not a feed. A feed with a plan attached is still a feed.
- No paid ranking. Nobody buys their way into your night. Money can buy correct hours and a real event calendar. It cannot buy the top of your card.
- No selling where you went. Your plans live in their own links and nowhere else. There is nothing to sell and we are not building the thing that would create it.
- Affiliate links are labeled. If a plan lands on somewhere you can book online, the booking link may pay us. It is marked when it does, and it never changes what got recommended or the order it came in.
